This amazing honey and almond recipe by Savor Easy on YouTube is one of the best bread recipes I’ve tried recently. It’s so soft that it just melts in your mouth and it’s as if you’re chewing on clouds. The sweet almond topping is also a great contrast of texture and flavor, and it works so well with the bread itself that you don’t want to stop eating it.

Topping
Dough
Step 1
Place a saucepan on a stove over medium heat, then add the butter, sugar, and honey, and mix them to combine. Bring them to a boil for 1 minute, then turn off the heat, and remove the saucepan from the stove. Add the almond silver, then set the mixture aside, and let it cool down while preparing the dough.
Step 2
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the milk, egg, sugar, instant yeast, yogurt, and flour, then beat them using a dough hook attachment over low speed for about 2 to 3 minutes or until smooth, and shape it into a smooth ball.
Step 3
Place the dough in a well-oiled bowl, then cover it, and set it aside for about 1 hour or until double in size. After an hour, punch the dough to degas, then transfer it to a floured counter, and divide it into 10 pieces equally. Smooth each piece into a ball, then cover them again, and let them rest for an additional 15 minutes.
Step 4
Get a dough ball, then roll and flatten it into a rectangle as shown in the video, and roll it from the shorter and tightly. Pinch the edges to seal, then place them in a greased 9×12-inch baking dish lined with parchment paper, and cover them for about 30 minutes before baking.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 170°C or 340°F for about 15 minutes, then spread the prepared topping over the proofed bread evenly, and place it in the preheated oven. Let it bake for about 30 minutes or until nice and golden, then serve, and enjoy!
