I bet we all love to have a clean and organized bedroom if only it were that easy. The good thing is it can be easy with the help of these tips and hacks by Clean That Up on YouTube, this video tutorial will show you steps and methods that you can do to make your bed faster and easier.
#1: Put on a Mattress Pad or Topper
The first thing you should do is put on a mattress pad or topper, they’re usually loose-fitting so they go on your bed quickly and easily. The main goal of using a mattress pad or topper is to protect your mattress because they are easier to clean.
#2: Put on a Fitted Sheet
Look for the tag on the fitted sheet so you know where a certain part goes, then once you locate the tag, make sure to put that corner on the bottom right side of the bed, and work your way around in a U-shaped pattern.
#3: Put on a Flat Sheet
Locate the top of the flat sheet, then make sure to put it face down, and pull up a few inches past the top of the mattress making sure it’s even on all sides. Tuck the excess on the edges nicely under the mattress as shown in the video.
#4: Putting the Comforter/Duvet
Lay down your comforter or duvet cover flat on your mattress making sure it’s inside out, then lay the duvet insert on top, and tie the corners securely but not too tight. Reach both corners from the inside, then turn the entire duvet inside out, and even it out before closing the zipper or buttons. Fold the top part a few inches down and fix it nicely.
#5: Placing the Pillows
Start by placing your sleeping pillows against your headboard or wall with the opening facing the middle, then place the decorative pillows in front, and add your throw blanket if using one.
