This DIY pool raft is made out of some pool noodles and a rubber camp mat which you can purchase from the nearest craft or Dollar Store. It’s a very easy project to do that doesn’t require you to exert too much effort and you can also use this as an idea or inspiration for a DIY drink carrier. Learn how now by watching the video tutorial below.
Step 1
Take two of the pool noodles and slit them down the length, and slide a noodle down each side of the rubber camp mat, then following the instructions on the Gorilla glue, run a moistened cloth between the noodle and the camp mat.
Step 2
Apply a thin bead of glue following the same path taken with the cloth, then cut the third pool noodles to the camping mat, and slit it down the length.
Step 3
Cut a slit on the shorter of the two pieces down the length these pieces will be, then arrange the three pieces to create the filling for the pillow, and test for the three pieces used to form the pillow.
Step 4
Moisten the mat and apply a bead of glue in the area where the camping mat meets the noodles affixed to the mat, and use two pieces of wood, screws, and a drill to clamp and hold the pillow together until the glue dries.
