You can buy a ready-made coffee-scented candle from the store, but it can sometimes be too expensive, so instead of purchasing one, learn how to make it at home using items you already have. The first thing she did was to try to remove as much of the candle to expose the wick, then put an ample amount of used coffee grounds in a jar, and make a hole at the center by pushing a stick down the center. She then inserted the wick into the hole at the center, then put a couple of cloves around the top, and lit up the wick.
Alternative Option
You can also just insert the candle directly at the center because the main goal is to allow the coffee grounds and cloves to burn to help them release their aroma which insects hate. Another thing you can try is to grind both coffee and cloves, or melt the candle wax, and mix it together with the coffee grounds, that way they will burn better and last longer.
