Bows gained popularity recently, specifically bows made from thin ribbons. They were everywhere, from decorations to pieces of jewelry. Everyone loved them, especially the younger generation. I know it has always been popular, but this is the first time I have seen them even on cakes.

When I was a kid, I remember I used to wear a bow hair clip every day. My mom bought us bows in different colors and sizes, so I had a lot of choices to choose from. This memory inspired me to make my own bows. So, a few weekends ago, I tried to make them using my fabric scraps. I quickly learned that I am not great at making bows. They always turned out wonky. I tried it several times before giving up. So, I decided to search if there’s a quick way to make perfect bows. Then, I found this awesome tutorial by Brilliant Art on YouTube. Who knew it was this easy and fast to make? I planned to turn them into bow hair clips and save the remaining ones for future gifts.

Wrap the end of the ribbon to your middle finger, then wrap it again on your index and middle finger.
Separate or open your index and middle finger forming a V.
Insert the working ribbon between the bottom of your fingers and the wrapped ribbon and pull it tightly.
Insert the working ribbon through the loop you just created and pull tightly.
Remove the bow from your fingers and fix the ends.
