Step 1
Cut and score the chicken then put it in a bowl, and in that bowl, add the yogurt, garlic and ginger paste, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix them well until evenly coated, then wrap the bowl with plastic, and let the chicken marinate in the fridge for about 2 to 3 hours.
Step 2
Place a pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then add the butter and oil, once the butter has melted, add the cinnamon sticks, cardamom, black peppercorns, and cloves. Saute them for about 1 to 2 minutes, then place the marinated chicken, and cook them over high heat for about 3 to 4 minutes per side until nice and brown.
Step 3
Add the yogurt, black pepper, lemon slices, and green chili, then give them a good mix, and cook them for 8 to 10 minutes. Flip each chicken over and cook them for 8 to 10 more minutes, then garnish, and serve. Enjoy!
