Chocolate ganache (optional):
In a large bowl, add the all purpose flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until well combined.
Add the cooking oil, milk, vanilla extract, and eggs. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
Mix in the hot coffee and mix until well incorporated. Make sure to scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula.
Grease your baking pan and line with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the pan, then thump to remove air bubbles.
Place inside the oven and bake at 350F for about 40 minutes.
Make the chocolate ganache. In a heatproof cup, add the semi-sweet chocolate and warm heavy cream. Mix until well combined. Cover until the cake is done baking.
To check if the cake is done, insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean, your cake is ready. Remove the cake from the pan. Slice the top part off to make it flat.
Poke holes in the warm cake. Pour the chocolate ganache onto the cake little at a time, making sure to fill the holes. Spread all over the cake even the sides. Keep in the fridge for half an hour. Garnish with some chocolate shredding.
