Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions, then set it aside. Next, season the chicken breasts on both sides with some cajun seasoning and lay them in a baking tray wrapped in aluminum foil. Pop them in a 350 degrees F oven and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. While waiting, prep the other ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup chicken broth, two cans of cream of chicken soup, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp ground black pepper, and 1 tbsp hot sauce. Mix until combined. Once the chicken is finished cooking, shred it into pieces, then stir them into the cream of the chicken mixture along with 1 cup of shredded cheese, the cooked egg noodles, and the carrots and peas.
Grease the casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray, then transfer the mixture onto it. Spread nicely and evenly. Lastly, top everything with 1 1/2 cups of breadcrumbs. Place the casserole dish in the 350 degrees F oven and bake for about 45 minutes. Once done baking, remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for five minutes. Serve and enjoy!
