Cooking simple food doesn’t mean it won’t be delicious, most of the best dishes that you can ever try are often the easiest to make. So when it comes to recipes, I only choose those that have been passed down to generations and are proven delicious, but most of all, I prefer those that are very quick and easy to prepare.

One of my go-to recipes is this one by Collard Valley Cooks on YouTube. This chicken and dressing casserole is the perfect last-minute dinner recipe idea for those days that you are too busy to prepare or cook food. This dish can definitely feed a crowd and is sure to impress them.
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, pour in the cream of mushroom soup, chicken stock, and milk, then whisk everything until fully combined. Add the butter, chopped onion, and eggs, then continue to whisk until incorporated, add the stuffing, and mix well until evenly combined.

Step 2
Set the mixture aside and let it sit for about 1 hour for the stuffing to soak in the liquids. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan generously with nonstick cooking spray, then transfer the mixture into it, and spread it evenly.
Step 3
Place it in a preheated oven, then allow it to bake at 375°F for about 55 minutes, and then top it with the cheese before baking another 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
