Cleaning Hacks That You Must Try:

  • Clean your mattress with baking soda
  • Clean your windows with a lint roller
  • Freshen your cutting board with lemon
  • Clean your dryer vent with a vacuum
  • Clean your kitchen or bathroom drain with baking soda

How to Clean Easily and Quickly:

#1: Clean your mattress with baking soda

After vacuuming your mattress, grab a baking soda, then sprinkle it all over the surface, and let it sit for about 30 minutes. After half an hour, vacuum it up until nice and clean, and you’re done! Baking soda helps get rid of bacteria and odor so you can enjoy a fresh and clean bed when you do this hack.

#2: Clean your windows with a lint roller

Cleaning your windows with a vacuum may be harder than it should be, and if you want an easier alternative, then try using a lint roller. It gets the job done quickly and hassle-free! Plus, you can also use a lint roller to clean your linens or to pick up hair or dust on your floor or sofa.

#3: Freshen your cutting board with lemon

To easily clean and freshen up your cutting board, cut a lemon in half, then rub the cut side onto the cutting board, if you want more cleaning power, you can sprinkle some baking soda before rubbing it with a lemon. Once done, give the cutting board a good rinse, and you’re all good!

#4: Clean your dryer vent with a vacuum

Dryer vents are one of the most common causes of fire in households in the USA and the best way to prevent this from happening is to make sure that your dryer vent is always clean and free of lint. An effective way to do this is to use a tube attachment to your vacuum, then vacuum far down the vent and even on the outside vent to clean out all the extra lint trapped inside.

#5: Clean your kitchen or bathroom drain with baking soda

Keep your shower and kitchen sink drain clean, fresh, and flowing freely by cleaning it with baking soda. Simply mix ½ cup of baking soda and ¼ cup of salt, then pour it down the drain, and follow it with at least ½ cup of warm vinegar. Allow it to sit and bubble for about 10 minutes, then run hot water down the drain to rinse and freshen it up.
