Aluminum foil attracts rust which is why it is a very effective method to shining your cutlery without having to scrub them. - Aluminum foil
- Dishwasher detergent, liquid or powder

Take a large piece of aluminum foil, then crumple it up until it becomes a ball, and make sure that the shiny part is facing outwards. Place the aluminum ball in the dishwasher’s cutlery drawer or cutlery basket, this will help your cutlery to look shiny again. Now, close the dishwasher, then put dishwasher detergent on the machine, and run it in a normal cycle. After the cycle is done, remove the foil, and take out your cutlery. Do this dishwasher trick as often as needed.
