Shabby Chic is a mixture of old or new made old.  For example:  by distressing furniture, or lightly burning the edging of these flowers to give them an old look, rustic furniture with pastel fabrics.  There’s so much vintage charm about this decor and it creates a soft allure that is simply captivating.  These exquisite roses she makes in this tutorial are so lovely and can be put on pillows, wreaths, and even furniture.

I’ve seen a lot of Shabby Chic bedding and I love the embroidered detail on the pillow cases with the soft blues, greens and pinks that I’ve seen used to create this look.
