Ants can be irritating when they start infesting your garden or house because they can carry bacteria and dirt, and their bites are pretty itchy. They can also feed on your food left on the counter and once they grow in number, they can get quite tough to control. Luckily, this video tutorial by Greg The Gardener on YouTube offers a quick and effective solution that can get rid of ants for good and even prevent them from coming back. You will only need simple ingredients that you may already have available in your house, so read the instructions down below now, and watch the video tutorial as well to learn how.
Step 1
Boil up some water, then in a cup or container, add 6 heaping teaspoons of sugar and 6 to 8 heaping teaspoons of borax, and pour in the boiled water. Stir them all together until combined, then add in some honey if you want, and continue to stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Once dissolved, let the mixture cool down, then transfer it to a spray bottle, and start spraying it on ant trails or ant-infested areas.

Step 2
You can also spray it on your plants and let the ants eat the solution, when the inside of your house has a lot of ants, find out where they are coming from, and spray there so that you don’t attract more ants inside. You can also fill a bottle cap with the solution and let the ants feed on it to attract and trap them easier.
