Cleaning and maintaining your car doesn’t only give an aesthetically pleasing and sparkling clean result but it is also a way of protecting your car from any damages that any dirt buildup can cause. It is also very important to keep a regular schedule of cleaning as well as know how to properly do it on your own. In this video tutorial by ChrisFix on YouTube, you’ll learn how to do everything step-by-step, from cleaning your car seats to your door panels, dashboard, and more.
Step 1
First off, make sure to roll down the windows, then disconnect the battery, and remove the car seats. Remove all of the objects, gunks, and other stuff that you can pick up using your hands making sure that you’re wearing gloves, then brush away all of the dust and vacuum clean all spaces well. Make sure to go over the vent, dashboard, and any surrounding area, then brush them with car cleaner or soapy water and wipe them well with a soft microfiber towel.

Step 2
Spray some soapy water on your towel, then wipe the steering wheel clean, and gently brush the stitches to remove all of the stuck dirt before wiping it clean. Cover the dash with a low-gloss protectant, then proceed to clean the door panels using the same process, and use a carpet cleaner to clean the fabric areas. Cover the door panels with high-gloss protectant making sure to give it complete coverage and avoid the fabric and windows. Wipe it well with a microfiber towel, then clean the car seats and the glass parts of your car. Watch the video tutorial for more details.
