If there are a lot of mice around your house but you don’t have a mouse trap or you’ve tried a lot but it simply doesn’t work for you, then you try this more simple and easier alternative that you can make with ordinary or recycled materials. Just look for an old bucket and piece of wood, scraps will do, then build this very easy trap, and catch mice effortlessly. This amazing idea is all thanks to Shawn Woods on YouTube. I hope you find this hack as useful as I did!
Step 1
Grab a large bucket, then drill a hole on the handle at the side of the bucket or if there is no handle on the bucket, then on the side of the rim will do, and then drill a hole on the end of the wood as well. Next, lay the wood slanted on the side of the bucket matching the holes together, then hold them in place using a piece of wire or if you want it more sturdy, you can add a screw.

Step 2
Position the bucket where there are a lot of mice, then smear the inside of the bucket about 3 to 4 inches down the rim with peanut butter, and fill the bottom with sunflower seeds. Leave this up overnight and check in the morning how many mice have you caught. The peanut butter will make it difficult for them to hang and they will drop into the bucket faster. If you want this trap to be lethal, then fill the bucket with some water.
