Our scalp naturally produces oil to protect our hair from breaking and even from dirt and pollution. Having oily hair isn’t that bad unless it becomes excessive to the point that it leads to dandruff, or worst, hair loss. Fortunately, there are remedies and solutions that you can make to naturally fix your greasy hair, and what’s even better is that they are more simple than you think. All thanks to Natural Cures on YouTube for this amazing video tutorial.
1.) Lemon juice
This fruit can offer your hair lots of nutrients and can help control the oiliness of your hair which causes dandruff. The acidity in lemon balances your scalp’s ph levels which is the one in charge of producing oil. To make a solution using this fruit, simply mix together some lemon with one cup of water, then apply this to your scalp, and let it sit for a few minutes before washing your hair as you usually would. For best results, repeat this up to 3 times a week.

2.) Baking soda
Just like lemon, baking soda can also help balance your scalp’s ph levels and can even absorb all of the excess greases on your hair. Simply mix together 3 parts of baking soda with 1 part of water until paste consistency, and then rub it all over your damp hair. After letting it sit for a few minutes, rinse out the paste in your hair, then repeat this up to twice a week until desired results are reached.
3.) Apple cider vinegar
This ingredient is an amazing tonic for your hair because its acid like the previous ingredients mentioned can help balance the ph level of your scalp and can also keep your hair from secreting more oil. To use this solution, wash your hair as usual, then dilute 2 tablespoons of vinegar in 1 cup of water, and apply it to your damp hair. Let it sit for a few minutes, then give your hair another wash, and repeat these steps up to 3 times a week until desired results are reached.
4.) Black tea
Black tea contains tannin which is a kind of astringent or acid which prevents oil from building up on your hair, simply prepare some tea with 2 tablespoons of tea leaves, then add a cup of water, and bring it to a boil for about 10 minutes. Strain the tea, then let it cool down before applying it to your hair, and let it sit for about 5 minutes. After a few minutes, wash your hair with shampoo as you usually would, then repeat this 2 to 3 times a week, and expect better results.
