How To Make DIY Toilet Paper Roll Snowflake

This recycled DIY project by Day with DIY on YouTube is unbelievably beautiful and easy to make! You can use this pretty snowflake for your Christmas decor and you will only need a few toilet paper tubes to finish a piece of a snowflake in just a few minutes. Materials:
- Toilet paper roll tube
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Directions:
Step 1
Press down the toilet paper tube flatly, then cut it into two, and then each cutout into 3 even pieces. Open each strip up and form them into a pod-like shape as shown in the video, then dab a small amount of glue at the bottom side of one pod, and stick another pod right beside it. Once you’ve made 2 sets with 3 pods each, adhere them together to make them whole, then set it aside, and cut another tube into pods. Cut 3 pods in half to make 3 strips of paper, then fold it over one of your fingers to make a loop, dab hot glue at the bottom to close it, and insert it in the middle of one large pod.

Step 2
Repeat this step for the rest of the strips and large pods. Cut out more pods again, then fold them over in half so that they look like tiny heart shapes, and hot glue them in between each large pod. Add more heart-shaped pieces on top of the other until there are 5 pieces in between 2 large pods as shown in the video, then repeat this process until you’ve filled all spaces in between each large pod. You can now decorate the snowflake however you want or leave it as is.
