Paint the mason jar with green acrylic paint, then flip it over and paint the bottom of the jar as well, and let it dry completely. Once the paint has dried, attach the googly eyes with hot glue, and draw the mouth using black paint. Add some detail by drawing a stitch just right above the eyes using black paint, then draw the hair along the neck of the jar making sure to paint the rim with black as well, and let it dry completely.

Jack-O-Lantern mason jar
Paint the mason jar with orange acrylic paint, then flip it over and paint the bottom of the jar as well, and let it dry completely. Once the paint has dried, use black paint to draw the triangle eyes, then draw crooked teeth or a mouth similar to a carved pumpkin mouth, and let the paint dry completely.
Mummy mason jar
Hot glue the end of the gauze bandage to the rim of the jar overlapping it a bit at the top, then start wrapping the gauze all over the jar until completely covered making sure to dab some hot glue as you go. Once the jar is covered with a gauze bandage, cut off the excess, then attach the ends to the body with hot glue, and adhere the googly eyes to the body.
