How To Make A DIY Witch House Using Cardboard

This cute Halloween decor idea by CraftUs on YouTube looks realistic and detailed, but don’t be intimidated by how complicated it looks because this is actually pretty easy to build. What’s even better is that you only need a few pieces of cardboard and a bottle. You can also make a bigger version of this and personalize it by adding more details that you want.
Materials:
- Cardboard
- Bottle
- X-Acto knife
- Scissors
- Marking pen
- Toothpicks
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Paper towel
- Craft glue
- Egg carton

Directions:
Step 1
Cut the pattern pieces out, then trace them on the cardboard, and cut them out. Assemble the pieces together using hot glue, then trim the bottom side of the roof, and hot glue the bottle to the side of the house making sure that the body of the bottle fits on the notch of the roof. Cut a wide piece of cardboard, then hot glue it to the side of the house covering the body of the bottle, cut small pieces of cardboard, and hot glue them around the bottle to build the roof. Brush glue to a square piece of cardboard then lay the paper towel on top, and brush more glue.

Step 2
Once dry, trim off the excess cardboard without a paper towel, then start cutting the piece with the paper towel into small strips, and hot glue them around the body of the main house like bricks. Rip some pieces of egg carton, then hot glue them around the house on the side and the bottle itself, and fill all of the roofs with small square cardboard pieces. Add details to the house including the window and door, then glue a few skewers in the mouth of the bottle, and a piece of cone-shaped cardboard. Start painting the Witch house and you’re done!
