Super Easy Peony Money Flower Tutorial

Do you sometimes have a hard time thinking about what kind of gift to give a special someone? I used to spend hours just searching through the mall for a gift but always ends up empty-handed. Not until I discovered this trick by KK House on YouTube which is both clever and practical! I’ve been giving money bouquets as a gift a few times now already and my mom loved it every single time.
Materials:
- 20 pieces of $1 bills
- Skewers or similar
- Clear tape
- Floral foam block
- 3D wrapping paper
- Jute twine
- Ribbons
- Some fake flowers
Directions:
Step 1
Fold a 1 dollar bill lightly to find the midpoint, then lay it flat on the surface. Stack another bill right on top of it but slightly overlapping about an inch. Place a skewer on both of their lower areas, just enough to hold them up as this will be the stem of the flower. Tape the stick in place, then start folding the flower. Work on the upper layer first, grab the lower ends of the bill, and let them meet towards the center making sure that you create a tight petal structure, so it should be slightly narrow at the base and wide at the top, tape them to secure. Next, grab both ends of the layer underneath but this time make it wider than the inner petal. Secure them with clear tape.

Step 2
Repeat all of the processes above until you’ve used up all of the bills. Once done, place a small block of floral foam on top of a tall glass, then start inserting each piece of the flowers assembling them however you want. Once content with the way they’re placed, grab some fake flowers and use them as fillers for the spaces left in between each money flower. Grab some 3D wrapping papers and fold them in half roughly just to have some dimension, take the flower arrangement and place them on top of the wrapping papers, then gather the papers toward the center, and scrunch it at the bottom. Cut a small piece of jute twine and wrap it around the scrunched base, then wrap a ribbon right around the twine.
