DIY Hanging Paper Hearts

Everyone is looking forward to the love air of February.It is the month that welcomes love and the most awaited day for every couple next to their anniversary. A time to celebrate love and affection by conveying wholehearted love in an impressive way. The purpose of letting your loved ones know how loved they are. A great way to do this is by personalizing the plan by showing the effort to make these hanging paper hearts.
This super easy DIY Paper Hearts 3D was shared with us by The Little Crafties on YouTube right in time for the upcoming event. This papercraft is basically a paper hanging decoration that you can use as a Valentine’s Day decoration. It can also be made into personal cards made out of your creativity and love.
Materials:
- A4 Color Craft Paper
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Scissors
- String
- Stapler
Directions:
Prepare all the needed materials.
Prepare your A4 color craft paper by folding a triangle reaching the edge of the opposite side of the paper.
Draw a double half shaped heart and cut the outer heart neatly with scissors and a pencil.
Mark diagonal lines across the half heart using a pencil that is guided by a ruler.
Cut the diagonal lines until the inner heart is marked only.
Open the heart and segregate the stripes as seen in the photo.
Loop the string and staple it in the center of the v-shaped heart using a stapler.
Cut the excess string and decorate as you please.
You can also make more of these paper hearts and hang it on your wall for your Valentine’s day party or dinner. You can also give them to your significant other as a replacement for flowers or gifts. A handmade present is much more significant than a store-bought one. What’s important is to remind your loved ones of how important they are on this day.
