Poo smell is an odor that no one wants to have wafting around the home, and if you are staying someplace that is not your home, it can be downright embarrassing! If you buy Poo Pourri at the store, it can cost around $8 for a small bottle, but when I found this awesome homemade Poo Pourri video tutorial by Clean My Space, on YouTube, I had to try it. Poo Pourri does work so the idea of making this cheaper variety really appealed to me. I already had all of the ingredients in my bathroom cabinet, so it was super easy and only took a few minutes to put together. I went ahead and made a big bottle of it using an old rubbing alcohol bottle, which turned out to be a great saving because a large bottle of store-bought Poo Pourri is $29.95!

Materials To Make Homemade Poo Pourri:

  • (20 drops of each) Essential Oils (whichever oils you like the best will work, peppermint and rosemary are used in the video tutorial, and they work great)
  • 3 tablespoons of Vegetable Glycerine (found in most health food stores or online)
  • 2 tablespoons of Rubbing Alcohol
  • Food Coloring (optional, but helps because it shows you what coverage you are getting)
  • 1/2 cup of water
