If you ever run out of cleaning chemicals for your toilet, know that you could still actually clean it with some household products already in your home. Smart Fox on Youtube listed five items and demonstrated how to use them for cleaning. It’s super easy and efficient, and you might save up a bit from buying expensive cleaning products. Watch the video below to learn these.

#1 WD-40

Spray some WD-40 on your toilet. This will loosen up the dirt that’s underneath the rim with it. After spraying, wait about five minutes, then start scrubbing with a brush. Flush everything after scrubbing.

#2 Cola + Baking Soda

Pour about half a liter of cola into the toilet, distributing it thoroughly. After this, sprinkle about two tablespoons of baking soda everywhere. Let it soak in for five minutes, then scrub it with a toilet brush. Flush everything after.

#3 Dishwashing Tabs

Dishwashing tabs can dissolve urine scale and lime deposits. Take one or two dishwashing tabs, put them in the toilet, and wait for them to dissolve entirely for about 20 to 30 minutes. After they dissolve, scrub the toilet with a brush and flush everything.

#4 Oven Spray

If you have discoloration going in under your toilet seat that is hard to remove, all you need is an oven cleaner. Spray it on the toilet seat where the yellow stains or discoloration can be seen. Clean everything with a sponge and wipe with a damp cloth.

#5 Toothpaste

Put some toothpaste in the toilet and scrub it with a brush. After this, flush everything again to finish cleaning.
