I’m always buying greeting cards and I’d love to have all the money I’ve spent on the cards alone! I’m sure it would be a pretty penny! Many times someone’s birthday pops up and I don’t have time to go out and buy a card, so this DIY project is certainly something good to have in your back pocket to get you out of a jam!

I think that people appreciate hand made cards much more than store bought cards, along with gifts that you’ve made. It shows that a lot of thought and time has gone into them, making it much more sentimental and meaningful.

I went out and bought and assortment of really pretty scrapbook paper to have on hand so when I realize it’s someone’s birthday, the night before, I’ll have everything I need to make a quick card! Then, sometimes, I just feel like making someone a special handmade card, when it’s not a last minute thing! Maybe I’ll get real ambitious and make up a few at one time, so I don’t have to wait until the last minute (lightbulb moment)!

Watch how DIY Paper Crafts and Origami makes these clever cards so you won’t be caught off guard ever again!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
