I am from the South, so divinity candy was one of my favorite holiday treats that we would eat every year. I used to have a recipe for divinity, but I lost it in a move many years ago. I was so excited when I found this Southern pecan divinity video recipe tutorial by Jackie Garvin, on YouTube because I have been wanting to make this delicious candy for years. The taste of divinity candy is very light, and a lot different than fudge, although it is often classified in the same category. Divinity is sort of a meringue type of candy but way more dense, in any case, if you haven’t ever had it, you need to give it a try.
