Instructions

Step 1:

In a large bowl, add 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Whisk until well combined.

Step 2:

Add 1 cup of water and whisk to allow the flour to absorb the water for 2 to 3 minutes. Next, add the other cup of water and mix again until smooth.

Step 3:

Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to the batter and stir well until there are no flour particles.

Step 4:

Place the pan on medium-low heat, close to medium heat, then add the cooking oil. Wipe it evenly with kitchen paper.

Step 5:

Pour 2 spoons of batter into the pan and slowly spread around with a spoon. Turn over after the top batter has set. Keep turning while pressing the edges using a spatula, so it can be heated better. You will start to see some bubbles inside as it cooks. If you want them to be bigger, turn the heat to medium. Once it’s filled with air inside and it has expanded, it’s ready to serve. Transfer to a cloth and cover it to keep it soft while you continue to cook. Repeat the cooking process with the remaining batter.
