Fall brings pumpkins, leaves, Thanksgiving, and all things pumpkin spice. Whether you love pie, PSL latte from Starbucks or all the other food and drink variations people are whipping up this time of year, we just found a recipe you may not have tried yet – pumpkin spice moonshine.
If this is one of your favorite times of year because as you know, pumpkin spice is just awesome, then perhaps this is a new recipe you are going to have to try – pumpkin spice moonshine.
Prep time 5 min
Cooking time: 30 minutes
In a large pot, mix up all of your spices and ingredients except for the alcohol, the moonshine and vodka. Bring to a boil and then turn to medium heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Allow to cool, and you can put it in the fridge to speed that up. Add the alcohol to this mixture, but sample as you go to make sure you are not putting too much. Less can be used, if you prefer.
Now, fill some mason jars with this mix. Put them in the fridge. You are welcome to sample some now and every day for two weeks, but after about two weeks, this moonshine will be in its prime. Mix up a bid ol batch of this to keep on hand for holiday gifts. We think some cute handmade labels with a cinnamon stick tied on with bakers twine would top these jars off perfectly.
Here is a different variation of pumpkin pie moonshine that is slightly less potent and can be made to drink now, complete with video tutorial. No matter which pumpkin pie moonshine you try, you just may find you like it.
