Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onions, cooked
  • 1/2 cup diced celery, cooked
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup diced bread (soaked in milk)

Glaze:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef followed by 1/2 cup cooked diced onions, 1/2 cup cooked diced celery, 1/2 cup ketchup, 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 beaten eggs, and 1 cup diced bread soaked in milk. Season with 1 tbsp salt and ground black pepper. Combine everything well using your hands. After this, shape the mixture into loaves and place them on a greased baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Put them in the oven at 350 degrees F and bake for twenty minutes.

Step 2

While waiting, make the glaze. In a bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 1/4 cup of light brown sugar, and 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce. Whisk well together. After baking, brush the sauce over the meatloaf. Serve with some mashed potatoes and corn.
