I know, it sounds too good to be true: the two best appetizers there are, combined into one cheesy, crunchy ring? Impossible, right?
Wrong. Not only are these amazing, but they’re easy to make! It’s like they were made for each other from the start, we just didn’t know it!

These are the ingredients you’ll need to make these babies:
Making these is way easier than it looks. First, slice your onions into rounds. Then, separate those rounds, and slice up your sliced mozzarella into strips.
Nestle those strips in between the caps of the rounds like the video shows. Then, it’s time to bread them! Dip your mozzarella onions into flour, then the eggs, then the breadcrumbs.
For an extra crunchy crust, dip this back into the eggs and then the breadcrumbs one more time. Then it’s time to fry!
Check to see that your oil is ready to fry by throwing in some breadcrumbs. If it bubbles, it’s ready. Fry your onion rings until golden brown, then lay them on a paper towel to drain.
Add salt, pepper, and chives to taste, and serve with marinara sauce or some ranch… both are incredible.
