I am not going to lie – each bite definitely melts in your mouth! It’s moist, fluffy, and incredibly delicious. This chocolate cake by Ohyoo Cooking will surely be a crowd favorite at any gathering. Ingredients:

  • 5 eggs
  • 1/3 cup of cake flour
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 0.9 oz of chocolate
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of sugar

Instructions:

Step 1:

Separate the yolks from the whites in two different bowls. Place the egg whites in the freezer for about 15 minutes.

Step 2:

Add butter to a small pot and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, turn off the heat and add the sifted cake flour and cocoa powder. Whisk everything until well combined then add the chocolate. Let it melt for a minute then mix it.

Step 3:

Add the milk and mix until well incorporated. After that, add the egg yolks and mix again.

Step 4:

Whip the egg whites, then gradually add the sugar, until firm peaks.

Step 5:

Transfer the whipped egg whites to the chocolate batter and mix until well combined. Pour into the mold lined with parchment paper on all sides, then place it onto a baking pan. Pour hot water into the pan and place inside the oven. Bake at 311F for 70 minutes. To check if the cake is cooked, insert a bamboo stick in the middle. If it comes out clean, your cake is done baking.

Step 6:

Remove the cake from the oven, take it out from the mold, and remove the parchment paper. Place it in the cooling rack and let it cool. Slice into four then serve. Enjoy!
