• 1 1/2 cups warm water
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 packet of dry active yeast
• 4 1/2 cups of flour
• 3 tablespoons of oil (divided)
• 2/3 cup baking soda
• 2 eggs (beaten)
• Some coarse salt (for the outside of your pretzels)

Then, you will section the dough and make long tubes to form the pretzels. You then, flash boil the pretzels in a water and baking soda bath for thirty seconds each side before you bake them.

Then, you will lay your pretzels on a baking sheet with parchment paper and brush with the egg wash. Just add some coarse salt over the top of the pretzels and bake at 450 degrees for ten to fifteen minutes.
