If you loved eating broccoli then you should try this baked version that is very easy and simple to prepare. Ricette Perfette on YouTube made this tasty and healthy recipe and I immediately knew that I had to try it. I was not disappointed by its taste because it was absolutely worth it.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams (17.6 ounces) of broccoli
  • 100 grams (3.5 ounces) of flour
  • 100 grams (3.5 ounces) of breadcrumbs
  • 50 grams (1.7 ounces) of Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper,
  • Basil

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • Fresh parsley
  • Olive oil

Directions:

Step 1

Wash the broccoli well, then cut it into small bite-sized pieces. Transfer it to a pot and fill it with water enough to submerge the pieces of broccoli, season them with salt, then cook it for about 5 minutes. Then prepare 3 mixing bowls for breading, fill 1 bowl with 100 grams of flour, the other with 2 eggs beaten and seasoned with salt and pepper, then the last one with 100g of bread crumbs mixed with 1 clove of minced garlic, salt, and basil. Drain the broccoli once done cooking and transfer them to a plate.

Step 2

Prepare a sheet pan, then line it with a sheet of parchment paper, and brush it with olive oil. Start dredging the broccoli in flour, then cover it with the egg mixture, and coat it in the seasoned bread crumbs. Once done, lay it on the sheet pan with the parchment paper, repeat this process until all pieces of broccoli are breaded. Bake it in a preheated oven at 392°F for 15 minutes. Prepare the dip, start by chopping the parsley, then transfer it to a small bowl, add in 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and olive oil, mix them together until well combined.
