Nothing speaks to my taste buds like a delicious Coke or root beer float, but I never realized that this amazing float concept could be applied to beer. As it turns out, beer floats are a thing! When I saw this amazing video recipe tutorial for beer floats by Food Wishes on YouTube, I really had to make one these beer floats as soon as possible. Chef John of Food Wishes makes these two types of beer floats that look absolutely amazing. The first float chef John makes is a chocolate Guinness with coffee ice cream float, and the other one is a raspberry Belgian lager float made with vanilla ice cream. You could also use your favorite domestic beer, such as Budweiser or Miller. Those light lagers would provide a lighter flavor with vanilla ice cream, whatever you have will work with this amazing ice cream float idea.
