People use it for their hair, face, and skin. But did you know you can make aloe vera gel at home? It’s actually easy and doesn’t require a lot of ingredients! Fresh aloe vera gel

Materials:

  • fresh aloe vera leaves
  • container
  • knife
  • clean cotton cloth

Instructions:

Step 1:

Place fresh aloe vera leaves in a container and keep them for half an hour to remove the yellow liquid.

Step 2:

Now, remove the yellow liquid and cut the leaves in half. Extract the gel and place it into a bowl.

Step 3:

Mix the gel well with a fork, then strain it using a clean cotton cloth. This will remove the green parts. Add a little bit of water to the cloth and squeeze again. You can now use the gel as it is.

Aloe vera gel (same as store-bought)

Materials:

  • fresh aloe vera gel
  • pan
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cornflour

Instructions:

Step 1:

Pour the fresh aloe vera gel into a pan and heat over low flame. Once it’s a little bit bubbling, add 1/2 teaspoon of corn flour. If you are making more gel, add 1 teaspoon. Mix everything until it dissolves.

Step 2:

Once done, turn off the heat and let it cool. Your aloe vera gel is now ready. Keep it in an air-tight container. You can store it for up to 15 days in the refrigerator.
