Everyone seems to want to grow their own food these days, and raised garden beds are by far one of the easiest ways to do it. Recently I found this cinder block raised garden bed video tutorial by Vermi Bag Composting & Gardening Systems on YouTube, and it looked really simple and perfect for my needs.  A really cool advantage of this cinder block garden bed is the fact that you can plant small plants, such as herbs, in the cinder block openings, as well as using the middle area. Also using a soaker hose is a great idea, that will keep those cinder blocks moist and that will water your cinder block garden like a professional irrigation system. All-and-all, this cinder block raised bed system is really a great idea for a multitude of reasons.
