I do a lot of chores in a week and I’ve got a pretty good routine to make things easier, but one thing that I like doing the least is folding clothes, especially towels. No matter what I do, folded towels just take up a lot of space and I want to improve that, so I tried looking for ideas online, and I found this video tutorial by Judi the Organizer on YouTube.

I was surprised when I found out that folding towels is super easy and using this method makes everything quicker. After learning how to fold towels the way they do in hotels, I never went back to the way I was folding them before and I felt like a pro in this chore now.

Step 1

Fold the towel in half, then lay it nicely on a flat surface, grab the top left corner, and fold it over bringing the fold over the center point.

Step 2

Bring the folded corner a bit over to the midpoint about an inch or two, then take the bottom right corner, and bring it over to the fold you just did overlapping it a bit.

Step 3

Pinch both sides of the folded towel at the same time, then lift it, and fold it in half with the bottom of the folded towel underneath.

Step 4

Pull the top folded layer down a bit, then start rolling from the bottom tightly, and tuck the pointed edge of the towel securely.
