We all know how hard it is to do a blowout. But faking a blowout is actually one of the easiest techniques to do. You don’t have to go to the salon after learning from Cynthia Dimdis on Youtube. Her tutorial is easy to follow. By the end of it, you’ll have a really beautiful blowout hairstyle.
Materials:
hair straightener or flat iron
round brush
velcro rollers
hair pins
hair spray
heat protectant
Directions:
Start off with heat protectant. Spray this throughout my hair, especially the ends, and brush it through so it can distribute the product evenly.

Then, from the top of your ear, section off your hair. You’re going to get the round brush and then the straightener. So this is just for guidance. You’re not doing any twisty twisties. You’re literally just putting it under the hair and then, once you get to the end, you’re going to curve it, but you’re going to follow it with the flat iron and then curve it with the flat iron. So with the pattern, you’re kind of going to do a little bevel at the end as well and follow the brush. The brush can give you the perfect bend. Put the brush under your hair and pretty much just go down and twist the handle with your fingers, so with your fingers you’re twisting the handle at the very end. Don’t use your wrist. Just your fingers and then just swoop it out.
Let it cool. Then use the roller to help the wave stay in place. Put the roller at the ends. Roll it in just a little bit and then put a pin in place to hold it in place. So the flat iron is going to be behind, but as you go down, you’re going to go over the brush, then under the brush, and then kind of just use your fingers to twist the handle and make that little perfect bevel. Then roll up just a little bit, not too much, for the ends to stay in there and then use a pin.
You could take big sections as long as the ends are getting beveled. Then it’s totally fine how big that section is as long as you’re able to get the full hair to bend.

You can do the bangs as the last step. Just repeat the process, but this time you use a smaller roller for your bangs.
The last step is to use hairspray to make sure everything stays in place.
