Painting on glass is only a tad different than on other surfaces like wood, paper or canvas.  Once you get the hang of letting one layer dry before adding another for opacity then you have it made.

This is a really cute mason jar DIY project that comes in really handy for gift giving! I don’t know about you, but I’m always needing a gift for someone and these are so perfect for putting little gifty things in!

There’s so many things to paint on mason jars…the list is endless! They are used for gifts, weddings, decor, piggy banks, centerpieces, candles, holidays and more! I love my mason jars! One of my favorite DIY projects is spicing up a mason jar!

Which reminds me…Mother’s Day is right around the corner and this would be a great thing to give to her. You don’t even need a paint brush for this project. She uses a Q-Tip to paint the designs on these jars. After she lets them dry she bakes them in the oven. This sets the paint so it won’t wash off or peel off.

I remember when my grandson was little and my daughter painted a mason jar, then she put his little hand in paint and put his handprint on it. She gave this to me for Mother’s Day and the jar meant much more to me than what was in it. I’ll cherish it as long as I live!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
