If you are a bread lover like me you are going to love this garlic mozzarella bread recipe by Ninik Becker on Youtube. This bread makes me so hungry I can barely look at it, lol. I really have wanted to make some homemade bread like my grandma used to make because I will never forget the small of her kitchen while she was baking bread, there is nothing on Earth like it. I always thought that bread making was difficult, but as I watched this tutorial by Ninik, my view on the subject completely changed. I really feel like any beginner could make this recipe.

Ingredients:

Dough:

• 2 cups of all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoon dry fast-acting yeast
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
• 1/2 cup warm milk
• 1 egg (whisked)
• A sprinkling of all-purpose flour (for kneading)
• 250 grams Mozzarella cheese (you can also use cheddar, gouda, gruyere, or whatever cheese you have available)

Garlic Butter:

• 2 tablespoons softened butter
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
• 2 tablespoons chopped scallions
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• A sharp blade knife (for scoring the bread dough)
• Egg wash (for the edges of the bread)
• Freshly cracked black pepper

Directions:

In this excellent video tutorial, you will learn exactly how to make this authentic Italian dough, from start to finish. 

Then, you will form the dough round and score the top with a sharp knife, then brush the entire loaf with your homemade garlic butter mixture. Using the slits, you have created, you with methodically stuff your mozzarella into the dough.
