After this, draw a 45-degree line from corner to corner on the wrong side of your background 5″ fabric squares. Next, take one background and one print 5″ square, line them right sides together, then sew a 1/4″ seam allowance on both sides of that line. After sewing, trim them to 4 1/2″ squares. Repeat these steps to all of your 5″ squares, until you made a total of twelve half-square triangles.
