If you have some chocolate chips and eggs in your pantry, then you can whip this cake for sure in just a few minutes. Step 1
Fill a small or medium-sized saucepan with water, then bring it to a boil, turn off the heat, and place a large mixing bowl on top. Add the chocolate to the bowl, then stir them around to melt, then remove from the saucepan, and continue stirring until completely melted. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites, then separate the egg whites, and add the egg yolks to the chocolate gradually or one at a time. Mix the melted chocolate and egg yolk well after each addition, then once they are fully combined and incorporated, set aside, and start whipping the egg whites until medium-stiff peaks form.

Step 2
Add a scoop of whipped egg white to the chocolate mixture, then fold it in until combined, add another scoop, fold, and combine. Now, add the remaining whipped egg white and continue folding until uniform and incorporated. Grease an 8-inch round baking pan with nonstick cooking spray or butter, then line it with parchment paper and pour the batter spreading it nice and even. Put it inside a preheated oven, then let it bake at 170°C or 356°F for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean, and then let it cool down. Once cooled, dust it with cocoa powder or powdered sugar if desired, then slice, serve, and enjoy!
