One of the first quilt blocks that I learned when I was still a newbie at quilting is a half-square triangle, it’s a quilt block that I enjoy making, and I find it the easiest to do. There are a lot of patterns and designs that you can make with just the half-square triangle itself and combining it with other fun quilt blocks creates an even more beautiful project!

Fabric requirements for each block
Other supplies
Step 1
Cut the fabrics as required, then draw a line on their wrong side diagonally from corner to corner, and then place the smaller squares on opposite corners of the large square, make sure that the lines are properly positioned as shown in the video. Pin the squares in place to make sure they don’t move out of place.
Step 2
Stitch them along the line, and trim the excess fabric ¼ inch away from the stitching line. Open the fabric and press the block nice and flat, then repeat with the rest of the blocks, and arrange them as demonstrated in the video. Stitch the blocks together and finish your quilt however you want!
