Ingredients:

  • Cooking spray
  • 6 graham crackers, whole
  • ½ box vanilla cake mix, prepare it according to package instructions
  • 1 pound strawberries, tops removed and sliced
  • 1 (8 ounces) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 ounces) can condensed milk, sweetened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 ounces whipped topping
  • Strawberries, for garnish

Directions:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F or 175°C, then grease a 9*9 baking pan with cooking spray. Grab the graham crackers and place 5 pieces at the bottom of the pan arranging them in a single layer, then break some of them to fill in the gaps, crush the remaining, and set them aside. Pour the vanilla cake batter over the graham crackers, then put it in the preheated oven, and let it bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until it passed the toothpick test. Grab a wooden spoon, then using the tip of the handle, poke about 4 rows of 4 holes in the cake, creating a total of 16 holes, and set it aside.

Step 2

In a separate large mixing bowl, add the sliced strawberries, then mash them using a whisk until nice and smooth. Add the cream cheese and condensed milk, then whisk them together until there are large lumps visible. Pour in the milk and continue whisking until smooth, then pour this mixture over the cake. Let it sit for a few minutes until the cake has absorbed most of the mixture. Next, add the whipped topping, then spread it out evenly on top. Put the cake in the refrigerator and let it chill for about 3 hours up to overnight. Slice the cake, then garnish it with the reserved crushed graham crackers and strawberries. Serve and enjoy!
