Materials for Single Wedding Ring Quilt Block:

• Assorted fabric strips
• Background fabric
• Scissors or rotary cutter and a cutting mat
• Needle and thread
• Fabric pins
• Iron, for pressing
• Sewing machine

How to Make a Single Wedding Ring Quilt Block:

Step 1

Download and print the template, then roughly cut them out, and place fabric scraps on the back of the curved template. Pin the fabric in place, then stitch them together with ¼ inch seam allowance, and press open. Add the next scrap, then use triangle strips to keep the fabric going around the circle, and add more triangles as needed.

Step 2

Once you’ve filled the whole curve template, cut off the excess fabric paper, then remove the paper, and set the piece aside. Cut the quarter circle shape in the background fabric, then fold it in half, and match the midpoint to the curved patchwork.

Step 3

Pin them together with their right sides facing and edges matching, then stitch them together, and repeat the same with the other background piece to complete the block. Continue to make more blocks and arrange them however you want.
