This would be an easy task if you know the right technique or method to use, and it’s not as difficult as you think. Learn these helpful tips from Let’s MAKE It Academy on YouTube and thread a needle in just seconds without hassle. Read the instructions down below to know how and while you’re at it make sure to watch the video tutorial as well.
Step 1
Always trim your thread before you begin so you have a nice and clean ending, then make sure not to hold your thread leaving it with a long tail, instead hold it close to the end leaving a short and stiff tail, and squeeze it securely between your two fingers. Guide the tip of the thread through the eye of the needle, then pull the thread out, and measure how long you will need.
Step 2
To measure the right length of the thread, hold the needle with your hand, then stretch your arm, and pull the thread until it reaches your shoulder. To lock the thread, hold both ends together, then make a small loop, push the ends in the center, and pull it tightly. Make a double knot by repeating the step, then pull the knot right where the first one is, cut off the excess tail, and you’re ready to sew!
