Ingredients:

Crust

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1 stick of butter

Cream Filling

  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of Cool whip from a 16-ounce tub

Chocolate Pudding

  • 3 small packages of instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups of milk
  • Some extra chocolate or pecans, for toppings

Directions:

Step 1

In a food processor, add the pecans, then crush them until crumbly, and add them to a stand mixer’s mixing bowl along with the butter and all-purpose flour. Beat them together until well combined, then transfer it to a 9 by 13 inches baking pan, and press it down the bottom evenly with a fork and about half an inch up all the way around the sides. Put it inside a preheated oven at 350 degrees, then let it bake for about 15 minutes, and allow it to cool while preparing the rest of the ingredients.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cool whip, then mix them together until well combined and smooth, and then spread it on top of the baked crust evenly. In a separate bowl, add the instant chocolate pudding mix and milk, then mix them together until smooth and combined, and then spread it on top of the cream layer. Spread the remaining cool whip all over the top of the chocolate mixture layer, then sprinkle some grated chocolate or pecans all over the top, and put it inside the refrigerator to cool and set. Serve and enjoy!
