When I was a kid, I remember my siblings making them in different colors and patterns. They made a ton and wore them proudly on their wrist and ankle. I was always in awe and wanted one, so now I’m reliving that dream and decided to make one.

How to Make a Macramé Bracelet
Learn how to make a rose bracelet with this easy macramé tutorial.
Cut two 4.9-foot threads or cords. Fold them in half, tie the ends together, and tape them to your table



This knot is called a square knot. You’ll be repeating the same knot but in different directions.





Place the working thread(pink) on top of the other thread as shown below. Now, you are going to work with the other thread(violet). Repeat the same steps that you did with the first thread.

Keep repeating the same process until it is long enough to wrap around your wrist.

Braid the remaining cord or thread together, then tie the ends into a knot. Cut excess.

Crafting Tip
Use a clipboard instead of tape to secure your cords or threads before you start knotting. It will prevent the cords from moving, make your knots more even, and save you from constantly readjusting.
