Ingredients:

  • 3 cans of beans
  • Bell pepper, chopped
  • Onion, chopped
  • 1 to 2 pounds of ground beef
  • ½ pound of bacon
  • ½ cup of ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp of mustard
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp of vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Worcestershire sauce, optional

Directions:

Step 1

Place a skillet pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then put the ground beef, and break it apart. Let the meat cook while preparing the bacon, place the bacon strips in a cast-iron skillet pan, then bake them in the oven until half-cooked, and set them aside until needed.

Step 2

Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then add the Worcestershire, chopped onions, and chopped bell peppers, and then mix. Once the ground beef is browned and the veggies are translucent, turn off the heat, then remove the bacon, and transfer the cooked meat to the cast-iron skillet pan.
