Cooking your food is much better than ordering takeout because it always is more delicious and hearty that way, but cooking can be a difficult task, especially during busy days or tiring nights. However, some just haven’t done much cooking yet or are just starting to learn, and if you are one of them, this recipe by Simply Mamá Cooks on YouTube is perfect for you! Just dump everything into a baking dish, then wait for it to cook, and enjoy it with your favorite beverage on the side.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of rotisserie chicken
  • (8-count) can of jumbo flaky biscuits
  • (10-ounce) bag of frozen mixed veggies, thawed
  • (22-ounce) can of cream of chicken condensed soup
  • 2¾ cups of whole milk
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Directions:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then get a 9×13-inch baking dish, and add in the cream of chicken condensed soup. Pour the milk into the can, then give it a good stir to get all the leftovers, and pour it into the baking dish.

Whisk them until creamy and smooth, then chop the chicken into chunks or shred them, and add them to the cream. Now, add in the thawed mixed veggies, then continue mixing them to combine, season them with salt and pepper to taste, and keep mixing until incorporated.

Step 3

Take the biscuit out of the can, then cut them in half, and place them all over the top in even rows until covered completely. Place it in the preheated oven, then let it bake for about 35 to 45 minutes or until the dough is cooked through, and then allow it to cool down for 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
