Materials:

  • Headband

Step 1

Your hair should be almost dry at about 95 percent for this to work perfectly, but if they’re dry then gently mist it with water. Then brush your hair and part it however you like. Next, separate it down the back bringing both side sections to the front. Lay your headband at the top of your head right where you would normally wear a headband and ensure that both sides are equal, then hold your headband in place with one hand. Let your free hand grab all of your hair bringing it to the front and over, then using your thumb push the headband up and around twisting it, this will keep it secure and out of the way.

Step 2

Now on the other side, grab a 1-2 inch piece of hair right at your part keeping it nice and flat, then tightly pull this piece of hair back over the headband, and bring it underneath so it’s wrapped around your headband and back to the front. Grab another section of hair and join it to the previous piece, then wrap it back over your headband, keep your twists sat right below one another, then bring your section underneath your headband to the front, grab another section below the previous one then join those pieces together. Continue wrapping down tightly, then grab a scrunchie and secure the ends nice and flat. Do this to the other side of your hair. When you’re done, grab both ends of the headband and cross them at the nape of your neck, and tuck in the ends.

You can leave it on overnight, or wait a few hours until your hair is completely dry, then gently untwist and unwrap them.
